Additional product details

The currently available Tamiya Putty (Basic Type) has long been praised by modelers for its high quality and ease of use. However, its gray color sometimes made painting over it with a lighter color difficult. Tamiya now provides modelers with a white-colored putty to solve this problem. Useful for filling holes and seam lines, this versatile putty can be used on plastic, wood, or metal, and can also be diluted with lacquer thinner for a wide range of applications. Each aluminum tube contains 32 grams of putty.

Plan application around the materials

Allow the repair to cure as directed before leveling and finishing it. Inspect the result under a preparation coat before committing to final paint.

Read the supplied directions before adding this item to the workbench routine. Assembly, surface preparation, masking and finishing form a sequence; choose the product for the particular step rather than assuming similarly packaged materials are interchangeable.
