Xuron 2175M Vertical Track Cutter

Xuron 2175M Vertical Track Cutter is part of the Xuron tool range at MegaHobby.

A Xuron® Track Cutter specifically designed for vertical cutting of model railraod track that has been secured to the roadbed as well as Markin® brand C Track.

Like our original Model 2175B Track Cutter, this tool has hand grips that are sized to provide optimum leverage and control.

For use with model railroad track HO scale and smaller. Not recommended for cutting hard wire or nichrome wire.

Prepare Rail for Your Layout

Track fitting calls for a dedicated approach to material and access. Compare the particular cutter with the rail you are using, and check whether the jaw arrangement suits loose track or work already secured to the roadbed. Track cutters should not be treated as general-purpose hard-wire cutters.

For a new section or a layout repair, check alignment and the finished rail ends before joining the track. Inspect the cut for any cleanup needed and confirm the rail joiner fits properly before securing the assembly.
