1/24 Scale

1/24 Scale Model Aircraft Kits

Build aircraft on an impressive scale with 1/24 Scale Model Aircraft from MegaHobby. These large aircraft kits give modelers substantial room for cockpit detail, airframe surfaces, engines, landing gear and other features that become increasingly visible as model size grows.

For builders who enjoy long-form projects and finished models with a commanding display presence, 1/24 aircraft provide a very different experience from more compact aviation scales.

Large Scale Aircraft Modeling

The increased size of a 1/24 aircraft makes careful construction especially rewarding. Cockpits, wheel wells, engines and exterior surfaces can become major projects within the overall build, while seams and surface preparation deserve extra attention because they are easier to see on a larger finished model.

Builders looking for smaller projects can explore 1/32 Scale, 1/48 Scale, 1/72 Scale and 1/144 Scale aircraft.

Take aviation projects beyond the original kit with Model Aircraft Detail Parts. Browse Aircraft Decals for alternate markings and Aircraft Update Sets for additional detailing options.

Paint & Finish 1/24 Aircraft

Visit the MegaHobby Paint Store for primers, aviation colors and clear finishes. Larger aircraft surfaces are especially well suited to sprayed finishes, so builders can also explore Airbrushing for airbrushes, compressors and accessories.

Complete the project with Weathering Products for exhaust staining, fading, grime and other operational effects.

MegaHobby's 1/24 Scale Model Aircraft collection gives aviation builders large, detail-rich projects where construction, painting and finishing can become the centerpiece of the hobby experience.
