Academy 1/72 Armor Model Kits
Academy 1/72 armor offers a compact way to compare tanks and other tracked subjects. Keep the scale consistent across vehicles and scenery when planning a small military display.
Choose the subject and scale
Read the complete subject name and Academy kit number before selecting a version. A unit, production type or named edition can change which references and paint scheme you need. Compare the scale with the rest of your planned display and check the individual listing for any stated special features.
At the workbench
Use restrained contrast around the smallest fittings and keep paint layers fine. Check that the tracks sit level before fixing the model to a base.

Plan the finish and supplies
Start with the instructions and a list of the colors, tools and materials needed for this kit. Dry-fit the main parts, then prepare a test sample of the intended finish. Keep delicate details accessible through painting and leave their final installation until the assembly sequence calls for them.
