Academy USMC M60A1 RISE (P) 1/72 Scale Model Kit

Academy USMC M60A1 RISE (P) 1/72 Scale Model Kit brings USMC M60A1 RISE (P) to your workbench in 1/72 scale. The M60 subject adds a Cold War tank shape to a collection of military vehicles.

Planning the build

Check the named version before choosing a color scheme. Plan the running-gear painting so the wheels and tracks remain aligned through assembly.

Working in 1/72 scale

In this scale, clean alignment and controlled paint layers have a strong effect on the display. Compare the model with companion subjects in the same scale, then judge shading and markings from the normal viewing distance. Keep fine details clear by testing how much paint, wash and final finish you need.

Painting and finishing

Choose the setting before committing to camouflage, markings and weathering. A small painted sample lets you compare the base shade with a wash and the dust or dirt from the planned display. Keep the heaviest deposits where the vehicle or equipment would contact the ground, and check the contrast at normal viewing distance.
