Alclad II Duraluminium (ALC102) is a 1 oz metallic lacquer finish for scale-model airbrushing. A distinct aluminum-alloy-inspired metallic shade for aircraft skin panels, machinery and unpainted metal components.

Select Duraluminium when varying the appearance of adjacent natural-metal aircraft panels or representing differing metal alloys.
Choosing this finish
Pair visually with Aluminium (ALC101) and Dark Aluminium (ALC103) for panel-by-panel tonal changes.
Surface preparation and application
A clean, smooth, properly prepared surface helps metallic finishes show their intended appearance. Airbrush in light, controlled passes, and test the finish on spare material before coating a completed model. High-shine finishes may need a different base-coat preparation than regular metallics; follow the instructions for the particular finish.
