Evergreen Styrene T Shapes for Model Building
Shop Evergreen Styrene T Shapes at MegaHobby for T-section styrene profiles for raised and exposed detail. Compare the individual listings by item number and dimensions so the material you order matches the part you intend to build.
Where this material fits
T shapes can reproduce stiffeners, flanged edges and lightweight fabricated supports. The stem and flange create relief that would otherwise require joining two separate strips.
Choosing the right item
Read the named section size and any additional dimensions in the listing. Decide which face will be visible before cutting parts to length.
From a drawing to a finished part
Begin with a measured sketch and identify which faces or edges will remain visible. Plan the cut layout so repeated components match, support the stock while working and dry-fit the assembly before bonding. Choose an adhesive for the actual material combination, then check a painted or finished sample on scrap before committing to the completed model. Keep useful offcuts for jigs, fit checks and small future repairs.
These materials can support several kinds of modeling, but the correct size depends on your scale and prototype. A part used as trim on one project may serve as a frame member on another. Use dimensions and reference drawings to make the choice rather than assuming a single profile has one fixed application.
