Microscale Micro Set Decal Setting Solution 1oz

Microscale Micro Set, in the listed 1 oz bottle, helps position waterslide decals and improve their contact with the model surface. Apply it to the intended decal area before sliding the marking into position. Find it at MegaHobby for a carefully planned model-building and finishing workflow.

Where Micro Set fits in the project

Use Micro Set during placement, then blot carefully without moving the marking. Allow the decal to dry before further finishing. For more difficult surface detail, Micro Sol is a separate softening step rather than another name for this product.

Plan the sequence around your model

Work from the materials and finish already on the model. A railroad car, aircraft, model vehicle or display scene can combine plastic, paint, decals and clear parts, and each stage needs the right product. Keep the product label handy and test the planned combination on spare material before working on a prominent area.

Allow enough time between application and the next finishing step. Avoid treating every Microscale liquid as interchangeable: decal solutions, clear coats, masks and adhesives perform different jobs. Choose the product for the task and use its own instructions for application and cleanup.
