Microscale Micro Weld Liquid Cement 1oz

Microscale Micro Weld, in the listed 1 oz bottle, is a styrene solvent cement for joining compatible plastic model parts. Its role is assembly rather than decal placement, foil attachment or a removable display bond. Find it at MegaHobby for a carefully planned model-building and finishing workflow.

Where Micro Weld fits in the project

Dry-fit the parts before applying cement and follow the product directions for coating and joining. Allow the joint to cure before sanding or painting. Test unfamiliar plastic and painted surfaces rather than assuming the cement cannot affect them.

Plan the sequence around your model

Work from the materials and finish already on the model. A railroad car, aircraft, model vehicle or display scene can combine plastic, paint, decals and clear parts, and each stage needs the right product. Keep the product label handy and test the planned combination on spare material before working on a prominent area.

Allow enough time between application and the next finishing step. Avoid treating every Microscale liquid as interchangeable: decal solutions, clear coats, masks and adhesives perform different jobs. Choose the product for the task and use its own instructions for application and cleanup.
