Vee Hobby USS Missouri BB-63 1945 Deluxe 1/700 Model Kit - VEE7003E

Build the USS Missouri BB-63 1945 with this Vee Hobby 1/700 Deluxe Edition plastic ship model kit. Missouri was the setting for the Japanese surrender ceremony in September 1945. This version is a late-war subject, with the battleship’s long hull and stepped superstructure giving the model a distinct profile next to smaller escorts.

Working with the Deluxe edition

The Deluxe release is intended for a more involved detail build. Review its parts list before ordering separate upgrades, and plan the assembly sequence around any fine detail parts supplied in the box. Compare the Standard edition (VEE7003S) when deciding which version to build.

Build and display notes

Plan the order for the forward deck and bridge before fitting the main turrets. Work from photos of the 1945 ship when deciding on deck finish, markings and the placement of small fittings. In a fleet display, leave room around the hull so the deck layout reads clearly from above.
