Vee Hobby USS Indiana BB-58 1944 Deluxe 1/700 Model Kit - VEE7006E

Build the USS Indiana BB-58 1944 with this Vee Hobby 1/700 Deluxe Edition plastic ship model kit. This model represents Indiana in 1944, when fast battleships operated alongside U.S. carrier forces in the Pacific. Its compact silhouette pairs well with a same-scale light carrier or with South Dakota for a comparison between sister ships.

Working with the Deluxe edition

The Deluxe release is intended for a more involved detail build. Review its parts list before ordering separate upgrades, and plan the assembly sequence around any fine detail parts supplied in the box. Compare the Standard edition (VEE7006S) when deciding which version to build.

Build and display notes

Compare period photographs of Indiana with the instructions before choosing colors. Mask the hull in short sections around curves and test the angle of the main gun barrels before securing them. In a fleet display, leave room around the hull so the deck layout reads clearly from above.
