AK Interactive Quick Gen Soft Black is a contrast acrylic paint. Use it to anchor deep shadows and pick out openings, vents or dark equipment. On small parts, a narrow lighter edge can help the silhouette remain readable.
At the workbench
Try the color next to the planned midtone before applying it across the model.
AK calls Quick Gen its acrylic range for the contrast technique. On repeated figures, try the same color over a white and a light gray undercoat and choose the result you can reproduce across the unit.
