Berkshire Junction EZ Line Fine Blue 100 Foot Spool

Berkshire Junction EZ Line Fine Blue is an elastic detailing line supplied on a 100-foot spool. Available from MegaHobby, it provides a flexible option for representing suspended wires, aerials and selected rigging details on scale models and scenic layouts.

Fine Blue for your model

Blue provides an alternative tone for a model’s aerial or other fine suspended detail. Compare it with your references and the surrounding paint before choosing the color. The fine size has a listed dimension of 0.010 inch (approximately 0.25 mm). Choose Fine when you want a less prominent line or a lighter-looking detail.

Railroad utility lines, aircraft aerials and ship details

On a model railroad, EZ Line can represent telephone or utility wires between poles and structures. Aircraft modelers can use it for selected antenna wires and rigging, while ship modelers can consider it for aerials and other fine suspended details. For military dioramas, it offers a way to suggest communication lines and similar scene details.

Select the size and color for the actual effect you want. Fine and Heavy are product sizes, not fixed scale assignments. Elastic line also behaves differently from structural rigging or a load-bearing cable, so do not rely on it to support a delicate mast or hold parts in alignment.

Plan attachment and tension

Test the line and your chosen adhesive on spare material before installation. Use only enough tension to achieve the desired appearance, avoiding unnecessary stress on poles, masts and other small attachment points. Plan the route before fixing both ends and follow the product guidance for handling and attachment.
