Mission Models Panzer Grey RAL 7021 – Water-based acrylic model paint
Panzer Grey RAL 7021 is a Mission Models water-based acrylic color for scale modeling. Browse colors for WWII Allied, British, German and Soviet armored vehicles. The vehicle’s production period and operating theater can affect the paint scheme, even within one kit family.
Why choose this product?
- Water-based acrylic color for brush detail work and airbrushing
- Part of the Mission Models paint system, with compatible primers, reducer and clears
- Use a test swatch to judge the dry shade over your chosen primer
Recommended Mission Models workflow
- Prepare the surface with a clean, even base. Compare Mission Models primers shades to see how they affect coverage.
- Set up the airbrush with Mission Models Thinner / Reducer as needed. Test the mix and spray pattern on scrap before moving to the model.
- Adjust working time if needed with a small amount of Polyurethane Intermix in a compatible color mix. Test how it affects sheen and leveling.
- Choose the final sheen with Mission Models clear coats where the build calls for it. Test the complete paint and weathering sequence first.
Where it fits in your build
Plan camouflage before adding track and stowage colors. Make a small swatch that includes the dust or earth tone from your display base so the weathering ties the vehicle to its setting.
