Academy 1/72 Aircraft Model Kits

Academy 1/72 Aircraft Model Kits

Academy 1/72 aircraft make it practical to build related subjects as a group. Choose matching scales when comparing fighters, patrol aircraft and bombers across a display.

Choose the subject and scale

Read the complete subject name and Academy kit number before selecting a version. A unit, production type or named edition can change which references and paint scheme you need. Compare the scale with the rest of your planned display and check the individual listing for any stated special features.

At the workbench

Use fine coats around panel lines and canopy framing. Test the strength of your wash and highlights at normal viewing distance so small details remain in balance.
