Zap Glue

Zap CA Glue, Z-Poxy and Hobby Adhesives

Choose the glue that fits your project. Zap makes thin, medium and thick cyanoacrylate, along with gel, two-part epoxy and specialty adhesives for hobby assembly and repairs. Whether you are assembling a miniature, joining a closely fitted balsa seam or installing a clear canopy, start by looking at how the parts fit and what they are made of.

Choose CA by viscosity and joint fit

Thin CA flows into a tight joint you have already positioned. Medium Zap-A-Gap CA+ gives you more control when applying glue before bringing parts together. Thick Slo-Zap and gel help keep the adhesive at the contact point. Try a dry fit first and set out whatever you need to keep parts aligned while the glue sets.

Match the formula to the job

Use a suitable two-part epoxy for assemblies that call for it, and choose finishing resin for compatible coating and laminating work. Clear glazing, flexible parts and threaded hardware each have their own requirements. Compare the label and test the product on a spare piece if you are unsure about the substrate or finish.

Control application and set time

A fine nozzle can make a big difference when working next to paint or inside a small assembly. Choose a compatible applicator to place glue precisely. For CA joints that need to set quickly, compare the pump, aerosol and refill accelerator formats. Check foam compatibility when working with foam parts.
